摘要: This paper presents a theoretical model and validates experimentally the microwave slow-wave transmission line (SW-TL) based on spoof surface plasmon (SSP) modes. Equivalent circuit models are first presented for characterizing SSP structures developed to serve as an insightful guideline design SW-TL at given cutoff frequency Bloch impedance. A mode converter connecting conventional microstrip is necessarily proposed ensure that quasi-TEM modes of gradually transformed operating TM SW-TL. The schematic paves promising avenue unprecedented interconnector footprint miniaturization integrated circuits, enhanced electromagnetic compatibility, example, in multilayered monolithic circuits.
