摘要: Abstract : Boron nitride fibers and boron coatings on alumina are described. The were obtained from fusible preceramic polymer. For the coatings, a non-fusible, organic solvent soluble, polymer was utilized. Transformation of polymers to ceramic accomplished in an ammonia atmosphere. fully cured ceramics colorless do not undergo weight or shape changes when heated 1000 C nitrogen air.
