摘要: This paper describes the use of a computer program to simulate drying in malt kiln. The specific heat, heat transfer coefficient, shrinkage, latent vaporization and thin-layer equations were determined as inputs model. Two numerical approaches tested, using same physical properties amalt bed, there was no significant difference predictions. One models then tested against temperature moisture changes laboratory deep bed experiment, data for commercial agreement good. Finally, model used investigate effects indirect heating, direct gas firing recirculation during typical kilning cycle.
