摘要: Abstract Extracellular recordings of 33 single nociceptive neurones the trigeminal subnucleus oralis (SNO) were made in rats under halothane nitrous oxide anaesthesia. These tested for their responses to a s.c. injection formalin receptive field. Such chemical noxious stimulation is known induce biphasic response dorsal horn neurones, second period which would be due inflammation. Twenty-three characterized as non-specific (NnS) and 10 specific (NS). Formalin activated both SNO NS NnS but, when they responded, (n = 5) showed only first phase activity while either one 13) or two phases 6). Biphasic most often observed with Aδ- C-fibre inputs. results indicate that time-course similarity between behavioural neuronal exists some convergent therefore does not seem very involved inflammatory component pain caused by formalin.
