Toward environmentally sustainable construction processes: The U.S. and Canada's perspective on energy consumption and GHG/CAP emissions

摘要: In the building and construction sector, most efforts related to sustainable development have concentrated on environmental performance of operation buildings infrastructure. However, several studies called for need mitigate considerable impacts, especially air pollutant emissions energy consumption, generated by processes. To provide a point reference initiating environmentally processes, this article identifies consumption resulting from activities examines previous approaches utilized assess such impact. This research also opportunities challenges impact based investigation current technology policies, regulations, incentives, guidelines.
