Crystal growth and electrical properties of lead indium niobate–lead titanate binary single crystal

摘要: The largest Pb(In 1/2 Nb )O 3 .PbTiO (PIN-PT) binary system single crystal (about 20 mm × 10 5 mm, 4.5 g) near the morphotropic phase boundary composition with well-developed (100) planes was grown by flux method using PbO-PbF 2 -B O flux. PIN-PT(72/28) found simultaneous microdifferential thermal analysis and thermogravimetric to show a peritectic melting at 1283°C partial decomposition of perovskite into pyrochlore phase, followed liquidus point 1294°C. electromechanical coupling coefficient in rectangular bar mode, k 33 '=78%, for phased array ultrasonic transducers obtained rhombohedral oriented along [001] axis, '=78% is highest value reported so far among all piezoelectric materials T c > 250°C almost independent temperature, even 200°C decreased only about 5%. constant d = 700pC/N Was obtained. relative permittivity e r decreases after poling.
