摘要: Animal models still play a crucial role in biomedical research. Among them, spontaneous canine and feline tumors could be useful to accelerate the entry of new effective drugs into clinical practice. This is because dog cats develop neoplastic diseases manner more similar human beings than both vivo vitro usually employed. We will discuss scientific foundation as well ethical legal concerns related use this “pet model” comparative oncology, suggesting some “key words” necessary starting point for correct approach this. Finally, possible such development cancer theory also discussed.
