摘要: Publisher Summary Cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in the establishment of zebrafish embryonic body plan appear strikingly similar to those operating amphibians or other vertebrates. The specification polarity is initiated at early stages development, leading a dorsal blastula signaling center, an equivalent Nieuwkoop by midblastula stage. In contrast Xenopus, fertilization egg restricted spatially occurs single sperm entry point located future animal pole embryo. initial characterization collection mutations affecting pattern formation provided key genetic evidence for model dorsoventral patterning gastrula via antagonistic interactions between ventral morphogen, BMP-2/4, its inhibitors. It likely that mutants also will identify novel components system. Furthermore, they be important tool elucidation hierarchies regulating this process as well functional analysis genes involved.
