摘要: Abstract A single intraperitoneal injection of 100 μg α, γ, and β-endorphin or their [D-Ala 2 ] analog influenced the behaviors male rats tested in open field. Beta-endorphin significantly increased grooming behavior whereas ]-α-endorphin appeared to enhance sexual arousal. Both γ-endorphin ]-γ-endorphin affected separate measures indicative heightened emotionality. It appears that systemic injections these fragments β-LPH are capable modulating unrelated analgesia. Furthermore, selective effects peptides suggest possibility each may be coded act upon receptor sites a differential manner resulting distinct patterns behavioral alterations.
