摘要: Researchers involved in the annotation of large numbers gene, clone or protein identifiers are usually required to perform a one-by-one conversion for each identifier. When field research is one such as microarray experiments, this number may be around 30,000. To help researchers map accession and among clones, genes, proteins chromosomal positions, we have designed developed IDconverter IDClight. They two user-friendly, freely available web server applications that also provide additional functional information by mapping on pathways, Gene Ontology terms, literature references. Both tools high-throughput oriented include most common genomic databases. These been compared other similar tools, showing they fastest up-to-date. fast intuitive way enriching coming out experiments like microarrays. can valuable both wet-lab bioinformaticians.
