摘要: Photosensitizers (PSs) have shown great potentials as molecular contrast agents in photodynamic diagnosis (PDD) of cancer. While the diagnostic values PSs been proven previously, little efforts put into developing optical imaging and algorithms. In this article, we review recent development probes that used conjunction with a potent PS, hypericin (HY). Various fluorescence techniques such laser confocal microscopy, urine cytology, endoscopy endomicroscopy are covered. We will also discuss about image processing classification approaches employed for accurate PDD. anticipate continual these developments could lead to an objective PDD complete surgical clearance tumors. Recent advancements nanotechnology opened new horizons PSs. The use biocompatible gold nanoparticles carrier enhanced targeted delivery HY has attained. addition, plasmonic properties were harnessed induce localized hyperthermia manage release PS molecules, enabling better therapeutic outcome combined photothermal therapy. Finally, how can be other coherence tomography surface-enhanced Raman scattering imaging.
