摘要: Summary Despite differences in their mechanisms and outcomes, little is known about whether postsurgical changes eating behaviours also differ by bariatric procedure. Following a systematic search, 23 studies on binge disorder (BED) related behaviours, bulimia nervosa night syndrome, grazing emotional after Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB), adjustable banding (AGB) vertical sleeve gastrectomy (VSG) were reviewed. Significant methodological problems dearth of literature regarding many VSG seen. Regarding BED although later re-increases noted, short to medium-term reductions RYGB common, reported AGB inconsistent. Short eating, from few studies, long-term bulimic symptoms, RYGB. Reoccurrences new occurrences problem disordered especially episodes, apparent AGB. Further conclusions comparisons could not be made because limited or low-quality evidence. Long-term comparison problematic RYGB, patients are needed. It currently unclear any procedure leads improvement behaviours.
