摘要: Phosphoglucomutase catalyses the reversible conversion of glucose-6-P and glucose-1-P. Lithium is a potent inhibitor phosphoglucomutase in vitro, however, it not known if was significantly inhibited by Li+ Li+-treated bipolar patients. Here, we demonstrate that inhibition chronic treatment causes alterations glucose-phosphate levels various tissues rats. Also, results compensatory elevation activity rat leukocytes isolated from The increase uninhibited patients due to increased expression PGM1 gene.
