摘要: The Fur (ferric uptake regulator) protein is a global regulator in most prokaryotes that controls large number of genes. classical repressor uses ferrous iron as co-repressor and binds to specific DNA sequences (iron boxes) dimer. Three different genes coding for homologues have been identified Anabaena sp. PCC 7120. FurA the transcription flavodoxin, product isiB gene, moderately autoregulated. In this work, promoter furA gene was defined protected regions promoters were identified, showing binding sites contain A/T-rich with variable arrangement compared conventional 19-base pair consensus. influence factors on interaction between evaluated vitro. affinity targets significantly affected by redox status presence Mn2+. optimal conditions observed both Mn2+ DTT. Those results suggest that, addition availability, FurA–DNA modulated conditions.
