摘要: A series of Pr-doped Yb1−χPrχBa2Cu3O7−δ, (0<χ<1) oxides has been synthesized. The structure remained orthorhombic throughout the solid solution range 0≤χ≤1 and lattice parameters increased with Pr ion concentration, χ. superconducting transition temperature, Tc, was significantly higher for each χ than corresponding Y1−χPrχBa2Cu3O7−δ oxides. Tc in this is suggested to be due smaller ionic radius Yb3+ ion.
