摘要: We previously identified the Mblk-1 gene in honeybee brain, which encodes a transcription factor containing two DNA binding motifs, termed RHF1 and 2 (Takeuchi et al. (2001) Insect Mol. Biol. 121, 134–140). Here, we mouse Mblk1 homologues, Mlr1 Mlr2. Both encode proteins single DNA-binding motif highly conserved with RHF2 activate mediated by element recognized Mblk-1. was expressed predominantly spermatocytes of testis, while Mlr2 various tissues other than testis. transcripts were lost testis W/Wv mutant mice, suggesting role spermatogenesis.
