摘要: Although there are many different instruments available for measuring intraocular pressure (lOP), the Goldmann tonometer is international "gold standard." The advantages of tonometry include following: technique well established, equipment widely available, safe and easy to perform, measurements fairly accurate reproducible. However, a number oflimitations as well. Perhaps major limitation that lOP secondary or surrogate endpoint glaucomatous visual loss.
