摘要: The epigenetic regulation of gene expression is accomplished primarily through DNA methylation, histone modification, and silencing via the action microRNAs. While previously very difficult to study, field epigenetics has been greatly facilitated by recent technological innovations. Alterations in epigenome machinery are now known be present a variety diseases, most notably cancers. Moreover, evidence emerged that dysregulation plays causative role disease pathogenesis. Novel drugs alter landscape have developed available as treatment for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) other blood Epigenetic changes CTCL studied extensively continue focus drug development. Given success therapies CTCL, research begun expand into dermatologic conditions, including primary skin cancers immune-mediated diseases. This article provides an overview current reviews melanoma, psoriasis, systemic lupus erythematosus sclerosis, with attention toward potential pharmacotherapies.
