摘要: Abstract Purpose To characterize human gastric fluid with regard to rheological properties and lipase activity. In addition, traditional physicochemical were determined. Methods Fasted HGA collected from 19 healthy volunteers during a gastroscopic examination. Rheological characterization of the aspirates was conducted on TA AR-G2 rheometer, using cone plate geometry. Lipase activity measured by continuous titration released free fatty acid tributyrate. Further, pH, osmolality, buffer capacity, surface tension total protein content bile salt level determined assay kits. Results examination showed non-Newtonian shear-thinning behavior predominant elastic in linear range. The apparent viscosity be range 1.7–9.3 mPa s at shear rate 50 s −1 . FaSSGF HCl pH 1.2 have no lower (1.1 mPa s ). observed will decrease intrinsic dissolution drugs. 7.4 ± 4.0 U/mL ( N  = 6, n  = 3) 99.0 ± 45.3 U/mL  = 19, 2.8 5.4, respectively. tension, concentration, osmolality compared literature data. Conclusion mean are significantly different that water should therefore considered important development simulated media. HGL is active even under fasted conditions might contribute digestion emulsification lipid-based drug delivery systems entire gastrointestinal tract. evaluation systems.
