摘要: BACKGROUND In patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), poor performances on delayed recall and executive function are risk factors of progression to dementia. The aim the present study was clarify neural correlates these neuropsychological deficits. METHODS Thirty amnestic MCI 15 control subjects underwent tests including three-word recall, visual Rey complex figure (RCF), two-relational reasoning Raven's colored progressive matrices (RCPM) a 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG)-position emission tomography (PET) measurement resting state. We evaluated relationship between performance regional cerebral glucose metabolism using voxel-based analysis. RESULTS Poor in related hypometabolism right medial temporal, prefrontal, left superior parietal cortices. deficit RCF correlated positively bilateral posterior cingulate. associated prefrontal cortex. CONCLUSIONS The findings suggest that temporal cortex, cingulate reflects impairments while cortex mirrors deficits MCI. J Neuroimaging 2010;20:29-36.
