摘要: In a deregulated electricity market, it may always not be possible to dispatch all of the contracted power transactions due congestion transmission corridors. The ongoing system restructuring requires an opening unused potentials environmental, right-of-way and cost problems which are major hurdles for network expansion. Flexible AC systems (FACTSs) devices can alternative reduce flows in heavily loaded lines, resulting increased loadability, low loss, improved stability network, reduced production fulfilled contractual requirement by controlling network. A method determine optimal location thyristor controlled series compensators (TCSCs) has been suggested this paper based on real performance index reduction total VAR losses.
