摘要: Gentian violet (GV) is recommended for initial treatment of oral candidiasis in HIV-infected patients resource-limited settings. Currently GV not used because its staining effects. In this study, we investigated the capacity three different concentrations to determine a concentration that does cause staining. The selected did was evaluated physical stability and antifungal activity. Fifteen healthy participants were randomized rinse twice daily 14 days with one concentrations: 0.1%, 0.0085%, or 0.00165%. Oral examination intra-oral photographs performed at baseline end therapy. Participants responded questionnaire assess adverse events. Antifungal activity using Clinical Laboratory Standard Institute methodology. 0.00165% stain mucosa well tolerated. stable possessed when stored certain temperatures time periods. solution mucosa, possesses potent
