Insulin receptors in normal and transformed fibroblasts: relationship to growth and transformation

摘要: Abstract The insulin receptors in normal and transformed lines of mouse Balb/3T3 fibroblasts have been studied. In the fibroblasts, binding was low growing cells increased 2–9 fold confluent stationary cells. Insulin whether growth arrest due to contact inhibition or serum starvation. When serum-starved were stimulated grow by addition fresh serum, declined. simian virus 40, Kirsten, Moloney, Harvey sarcoma viruses, methylcholanthrene, X rays, spontaneously, low, same range as 40-transformed cells, 4 reached higher densities culture. No relationship changes cell size found. differences concentration receptors, without their affinity for hormone.
