摘要: The role of infectious agents and chronic inflammation in carcinogenesis is being increasingly recognized. It has been estimated that about 18% cancers are directly linked to infections, particularly gastric adenocarcinoma (Helicobacter pylori), cervical carcinoma (human papilloma viruses), hepatocarcinoma (hepatitis B C viruses). Multiple clinical trials COX-2 inhibitors other antiinflammatory have shown a beneficial effect on the development diverse tumors, such as those colon, stomach, prostate, breast. However, their mechanism action not completely understood may differ among tumor types. Because adenocarcinomas account for more than 90% all malignancies, this review focuses adenocarcinomas.
