摘要: We evaluated the association of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) 142285G>A (R521K) and estrogen alpha (ESR1) 2014G>A (T594T) single nucleotide polymorphisms with breast cancer risk prognosis in Tunisian patients. EGFR ESR1 were genotyped a sample 148 patients 303 controls using PCR-RFLP method. Immunohistochemitsry was used to evaluate expression levels EGFR, HER2, ESR1, progesterone BCL2 tumors. found no evidence for an between R521K polymorphism risk. However, we that homozygous GG (Arg) genotype more prevalent lymph node metastasis (P = .03) high grade tumors .011). The 2014G allele showed significant .025). associated HER2 overexpression this withstood univariate multivariate analyses .009; P .021, resp.). These data suggest might be prognostic factor, because it correlates both tumor nodule status. higher T594T suggests possibility gene accompanied by influence pathogenesis cancers.
