摘要: Ambient ion sources for mass spectrometry have been frequently reported in the past 10 years. The most attractive features of these are that they fast and an easy way to analyze various samples. microwave induced plasma desorption ionization source, MIPDI is one among them. In this study, qualitative quantitative behavior source has demonstrated by analyzing preservatives cosmetics first time. detection limit as low pg mm−2. relative standard deviation continuous analysis 5.25%. Preservatives commercial samples were successfully detected including those facial cream, sunscreen moisturizer. screening capability proved. Five classified into two groups within 5 minutes according added preservatives. ability quantitatively was also investigated. adding calibration curve methods used quantitation process. results showed accuracy MIPDI-MS −49% −66% a liquid state sample solid respectively, i.e. semi-quantitation possible. A conceptual experiment conducted validate accurate MIPDI-MS. concentration caffeine cosmetic matrices quantified satisfactorily with no pretreatment, RSD value 5.5% 3.6%. approaches established work indicate promising tool future applications where rapid needed.
