摘要: Abstract Objective Bladder cancer has the sixth highest incidence in United States. Treatment of metastatic bladder is difficult, and mortality certain. There are certain pathways growth progression that important development. Recently, estrogen pathway been found to be a potential target for therapy. Methods We identified 410 patients treated with radical cystectomy urothelial cell carcinoma between 1990 1994. obtained representative paraffin-embedded tissue blocks 336 (82.0%) these cases evaluated expression intensity receptor (ER)-α, ER-β, progesterone by immunohistochemistry. Results Among 12 ER-α–positive cases, median tumor ER-α was 10% (range, 10%-50%). In contrast ER-α, all were ER-β–positive. Median ER-β 90% 20%-100%). Nearly had of ≥ (175 [55.9%] 103 [32.9%] 100%). However, staining varied from focal moderate marked 64 (20.5%), 167 (53.4%), 82 (26.2%) respectively. Progesterone noted negative cases. Conclusions highly expressed cancer. Prospective validation data might further elucidate utility as marker prognosis or possible
