摘要: Compared to other transport modes, coach continues have a limited share in long-distance travel. Nevertheless, this can change due the recent liberalization of market many West European countries. In paper, we analyse if travellers could be interested transport, and which service characteristics are most convincing addition travel time cost. For purpose, designed an online stated preference survey collected data from 274 Belgian respondents who occasionally long-distances by for business, leisure or visiting friends family. Our results show that costs prices dominant factor determining preferences transport. But this, so-called quality-of-service attributes impact on willingness-to-pay This holds ample leg space, catering, Wi-Fi (especially business travellers), presence individual entertainment system frequent travellers). Because accounted interaction between such different groups terms trip frequency age, our also offer insights operators into segments.
