摘要: The present studies investigated the expression of two PDGF genes (c-sis/PDGF-2 and PDGF-1) PDGF-receptor b gene (PDGF-R) in 34 primary human astrocytomas. Northern blot analysis demonstrated coexpression c-sis/PDGF-2 protooncogene PDGF-R all astrocytomas examined. majority tumors also expressed PDGF-1 gene. There was no correlation between genes. Nonmalignant brain tissue but not protooncogene. In situ hybridization astrocytoma localized c-sis mRNA's tumor cells. Capillary endothelial cells mRNA. contrast, nonmalignant only mRNA a potent mitogenic growth factor (c-sis) its receptor suggests presence an autocrine mechanism that may contribute to development maintenance serve as additional diagnostic criterion for detection small specimen using and/or immunostaining recognition protein product.
