摘要: We describe a facile and effective poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) coating method that has not been used previously for decoration of nanogels. Layer-by-layer (LbL) assembly was the technique choice to introduce PEG onto surface multi-layered nanogels (MLNGs). Pegylated MLNGs were prepared simply by sequentially dispersing in solutions cationic polymer, anionic modified PEGs, each step validated measuring changes size charge. Particularly, peptide linker is cleavable matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) tumor microenvironment introduced between layer because it known reduces uptake nanoparticles cells due its high mobility. In vitro cell studies demonstrated with MMP-cleavable PEGs enhanced particle up 3 times unmasking brushes as compared pegylated without MMP-sensitive linkers.
