摘要: The relationship between expression of the pituitary-specific transcription factor, GHF-1, and activation growth hormone prolactin genes during mouse anterior pituitary development was investigated. While GHF-1 transcripts were detected within 24 hr first observable events in differentiation, no protein could be until about 3 days later. appearance showed good temporal spatial correlation with gene. Prolactin gene expression, on other hand, observed transiently embryonic day 16 two different populations cells, which major one does not contain or hormone. These results suggest that is controlled both transcriptionally posttranscriptionally. suggests responsible for this very last step specialization somatotrophic cells.
