摘要: Objective. Antibodies to Proteus mirabilis were previously detected in patients with established rheumatoid arthritis (RA). We examined the prevalence of antibodies P. and their associations RA early synovitis patients. Methods. Two hundred forty-six inflammatory for less than 1 yr prospectively evaluated yr. Of these patients, 30% had factor (RF)-positive RA, 16% RF-negative 17% a spondyloarthropathy 37% undifferentiated arthritis. Serum mirabilis, Escherichia coli other potentially arthritogenic organisms (Chlamydia, Salmonella, Shigella, Campylobacter, Yersinia parvovirus B19) specific immunoglobulin (Ig) G damaged advanced glycation end-products (anti-IgG-AGE) measured. Results. IgM IgA anti-Proteus significantly higher RF-positive compared all patient groups (P_0.0005 P_0.005). Anti-P. IgG, IgA, pathogens did not differ groups. E. elevated results explained by false-positive reactions, because after absorption RF there was no decrease 10 12 highest positive both anti-IgG-AGE (P_0.001). Patients erosions tended have titres, but association shared HLA epitope or treatment detected. Conclusion. anti-E. antibody elevations are associated seropositive presence antibodies. The role that plays requires further investigation.
