摘要: Purpose To assess the impact of slab selection on quantitative measurements choriocapillaris (CC) flow deficits (FDs) using optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA). Design Cross-sectional study. Methods Using a swept-source OCTA device, en face slabs to isolate CC were first generated manufacturer's default setting: 20-μm-thick starting 29 μm posterior centerline automatically segmented retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) band. The inner and/or outer borders then adjusted by 2-μm increments generate with range offsets relative center RPE FDs modified compared that slab. Results Twenty-seven eyes healthy subjects (mean age, 42.0 years) prospectively enrolled. FD% increased when was shifted outward ≥4 μm and inward 20 μm (P Conclusions Quantitative parameters may be significantly influenced small differences in selection. Slab close can susceptible segmentation errors. These findings highlight importance accurate, precise, consistent definition reliably metrics from OCTA.
