摘要: The acquisition of technical skills using surgical simulators is an area active research and rapidly evolving technology. LapSim a virtual reality simulator that currently allows practice basic laparoscopic some procedures. To date, no reviews have been published with reference to single simulator. A PubMed search was performed the keyword “LapSim,” further papers identified from citations original articles. Use develop has yielded overall results, although inconsistencies exist. Data regarding transferability learned operative environment are encouraging as validation work, particularly use combination measured parameters produce comparative performance score. Although does not any proven significant advantages over video trainers in terms instruction results studies variable, potential for such technology huge impact on training apparent. Work determine standardized learning curves proficiency criteria different levels trainees incomplete. Moreover, defining which by accurately skill complex. Further technological advances will undoubtedly improve efficacy LapSim, large multicenter trials anticipated.
