摘要: IC1, IC2, and IC3 are novel c-mil transducing retroviruses generated during serial passaging of Rous-associated virus type 1 (RAV-1) in chicken embryo neuroretina cells. They were isolated by their ability to induce proliferation these nondividing IC2 early passages RAV-1 cells, whereas IC1 was after six consecutive supernatants. We sequenced the transduced genes mil-RAV-1 junctions three viruses. The 5' RAV-1-mil junction formed a splicing process between leader sequence exon 8 gene. end resulted from homologous recombination gag mil sequences. Reconstitution experiments showed that cells also led formation gag-mil-containing retrovirus. Therefore, constitution U5-leader-delta c-mil-delta RAV-1-U3 represents steps transduction RAV-1. This further recombined with generate virus. IC viruses serine/threonine kinase domain cellular Hence, amino-terminal truncation is sufficient activate mitogenic property c-mil. Comparison transforming properties gene, expressed as unique protein independent sequences, weakly avian Acquisition sequences not only increased rate replication but enhanced capacity
