摘要: There are now clear indications that endocytosis and recycling of integrins is important during cancer progression, invasion metastasis. In this chapter, we will review the recent literature outlining cellular mechanisms control integrin endocytosis, endocytic trafficking how these processes may be measured experimentally. The influence on function then considered, such as spatial dynamics controlled in migrating cells. We focus various ways can cell migration invasion. particular, highlight (a) α5β1 receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) upregulated following αvβ3 inhibition provides a molecular explanation for overall lack efficacy anti-αv drugs tumour angiogenesis; (b) events dictate whether certain GTPases, Rab25, suppressors or promoters; (c) mutation p53 drives metastasis by altering RTK recycling, discuss components membrane pathways targeted therapeutically to reverse oncogenic drive human cancers.
