摘要: The sex-determining region Y-box 2 (SOX2) gene, a member of the Sry-like high-mobility group box (SOX) gene family, encodes transcription factor Sox2, which significantly contributes to regulation cell pluripotency. Sox2 is closely associated with early embryonic development, neural differentiation and other biological processes. An inreasing number recent studies suggest that exerts positive effect on malignant tumors. According these results, expected become novel target for cancer therapy by unveiling mechanism through it affects behavior Therefore, crucial elucidate detailed association aim this study was review role in pluripotency maintenance, development differentiation, as well investigate regulates stem cells tumorigenesis.
