摘要: Background and objective Radical parametrectomy (RP), performed either abdominally (ARP) or laparoscopically (LRP), is a viable alternative to radiotherapy in treating invasive cervical cancer, vaginal apex endometrial cancer that more advanced than initially suspected after hysterectomy. We carried out comparative study on intra- postoperative parameters between the two by similarly experienced surgeons. Methods Forty consecutive patients indicative for RP were reviewed: 22 18 underwent ARP LRP, respectively. Information was collected demographics, indications initial this surgery, tumor characteristics, parameters, complications. The lengths of resected parametrial tissues measured. Results Compared with ARP, LRP resulted shorter operative time (200 vs 239 min), less blood loss (627.8 929.5 mL), hospital stay (16.8 19.9 days), removal pelvic lymph nodes (27.4 ± 5.9 23.1 7.1). Although it not attempted remove deep obturator space, one positive node found. In cohort there case injury small intestine during whereas instance lower urologic fistula surgery. Conclusion superior terms time, loss, while still maintaining completeness procedure. It can be safely hands surgeons carcinoma stage II
