摘要: Diets rich in fruits and vegetables have been associated with reduced risks for many types of cancers. Avocado (Persea americana Mill.) is a widely consumed fruit containing cancer preventing nutrients, vitamins phytochemicals. Studies shown that phytochemicals extracted from the avocado selectively induce cell cycle arrest, inhibit growth, apoptosis precancerous lines. Our recent studies indicate 50% Methanol help proliferation human lymphocyte cells decrease chromosomal aberrations induced by cyclophosphamide. Among three concentrations (100 mg, 150 mg 200 per Kg Body Weight), most effective conc. extract was mg/Kg Wt. It decreased significant level numerical structural (breaks, premature centromeric division etc. up to 88%, p < 0.0001)), accrocentric associtation within D & G group (up 78%, = 0.0008). These suggest can be utilized making active chemoprotective ingredient lowering side effect chemotherapy like cyclophosphamide therapy.
