摘要: Background: Angiogenesis plays a key role in the progression of various tumors, including endometrial carcinomas. Several cytokines and their associated receptors are shown to be involved, particularly VEGF-A with VEGFR1, -2 -3. Methods: The expressions VEGF-A, VEGFR2 VEGFR3 were studied by immunohistochemistry 76 carcinoma specimens. receptor expression also qRT-PCR 17 tumors comparison normal endometrium. profiles correlated tumor type, grade, stage, lymphovascular invasion, disease free survival, other cytokine (EGFR, CXCR1 CXCR2). Results: Immunohistochemically, 63% cancers expressed 55% 26% VEGFR3. was significantly stage (p = 0.02), trend towards poorer survival 0.09). microvessel density <0.01). Using qRT-PCR, increased (17.2-fold) (21.9-fold) seen carcinomas compared endometrium, significant correlations among levels VEGFR2, VEGFR3, EGFR, CXCR2. Conclusion: Our study suggests that evaluation may provide prognostic data, help identify patients who would best benefit from anti-angiogenic therapeutic agents. This is first report showing between different receptors. (C) 2014 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
