摘要: Abstract Conversion, selectivity and yield of 1-hexanol liquid phase dehydration to di-n-hexyl ether (DNHE) were determined at 150–190 °C on three acidic catalysts, the thermally stable resin Amberlyst 70, perfluoroalkanesulfonic Nafion NR50 zeolite H-BEA-25, in a batch reactor. The highest conversion achieved 70 190 °C, but most selective catalyst was NR50. Good results obtained 190 °C zeolite. Apparent activation energies for catalysts range 108–140 kJ/mol. Unlike reaction DNHE synthesis bit more active less than analogous 1-pentanol di-n-pentyl (DNPE).
