Knockdown of long non-coding RNA linc00511 suppresses proliferation and promotes apoptosis of bladder cancer cells via suppressing Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway

摘要: More and more studies have shown that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play critical roles in various biological processes of bladder cancer, including proliferation, apoptosis, migration cell cycle arrest. LncRNA intergenic noncoding RNA 00511 (linc00511) is one the lncRNAs highly expressed cancer tissues cells. However, little known about mechanisms linc00511 cancer. Here, we demonstrated was cancer tissues Linc00511 knockdown could cause proliferation suppression arrest, which were mediated by p18, p21, CDK4, cyclin D1 phosphorylation Rb. Suppressed induce apoptosis T24 BIU87 cells via activating caspase pathway. Down-regulation also suppress invasion In addition, found expression negatively correlated with miR-15a-3p clinical samples. Further mechanistic showed induced inhibition, increase might be regulated through suppressing activities Wnt/β-catenin signaling Thus, revealed suppressed promoted Moreover, suggested a potential therapeutic target novel biomarker
