摘要: Cancer is caused by defects in the mechanisms underlying cell proliferation and death. Calcium ions are central to both phenomena, serving as major signalling agents with spatial localization, magnitude temporal characteristics of calcium signals ultimately determining cell’s fate. There four primary compartments: extracellular space, cytoplasm, endoplasmic reticulum mitochondria that participate cellular Ca2+ circulation. They separated own membranes incorporating divers Ca2+-handling proteins whose concerted action provides for necessary account specific response. The transformation a normal into cancer associated re-arrangement pumps, Na/Ca exchangers channels, which leads enhanced impaired ability die.
