摘要: Knowledge of and attitudes towards dysmenorrhea among adolescent school girls were assessed in this study. A descriptive study was conducted 200 Year 12 at a the Nugegoda Educational Division district Colombo. Data collection done by using non-probability convenience sampling. The results indicated that 84% population had dysmenorrhea. Paracetamol drug choice for pain relief. There statistically-significant (P < 0.05) association between poor mental health status (66%) girls, but there no significant physical (P = 0.887) social (P = 0.395). Bathing found to affect pain, as reported 95% students. Dysmenorrhea common our population, their status. Health-education sessions are important raise awareness students
