Web 2.0 Technologies: A knowledge gatekeeper perspective in the educational environment

摘要: The literature on Web 2.0 technologies addresses many aspects of the subject; however, one issue that needs attention is how knowledge gatekeepers interact with e-learning communities. Action research was used to study a course in management over several years, each presentation an iteration action cycle. Through evaluating learning outcomes and student feedback, conclusion reached introduction has changed role traditional gatekeeper (the teacher) from deliverer facilitator or guide. In addition, this change enables students take more active attitude towards their learning. This paper considers perspective gatekeeper, technology support interaction.
