摘要: The effect of selenium was examined on the growth potential normal, preneoplastic and neoplastic mammary cells grown in primary monolayer cell cultures 3 established lines. Selenium, present as Na2SeO3 serum-free DMEM, inhibited all at 1 × 10−5 M. 5 10−8 M, stimulated normal C4 line YN-4, but not D2 tumors CL-S1 WAZ-2t. differential responses from outgrowth lines vitro correlated with sensitivity these same populations to selenium-mediated inhibition tumorigenesis vivo. among will allow further comparative studies biological basis function.
