摘要: The utility of teacher judgment (rankings, ratings) and peer (sociometric were studied as screening variables for preschool social withdrawal/responsiveness. Observational measures preschoolers' interaction used the validation criterion based upon theoretical, empirical, practical considerations related to development a multipurpose behavioral assessment system. Results indicated that rankings students' verbal frequencies (1) most highly correlated rate in two settings, (2) had test-retest reliability consistently above Rho = .80, (3) useful 77% teachers using this procedure could identify their least socially responsive student within five rankings. nomination sociometric rating was reliable measure at retest (Rho .35) showed lowest correlation with observational indices partner preferences, e.g., reciprocal .29 .39). tendency relationships among increase suggested training effect on accuracy. use combination confirm selection accuracy monitoring treatment progress is discussed cost-effective
