摘要: Impairments in social communication skills are a core feature of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and include deficits social-emotional reciprocity, non-verbal communicative behaviors used for interaction, developing, maintaining, understanding relationships. In order to improve outcomes children with ASD, much research has been focused on developing effective interventions treat these deficits. The purpose this paper is highlight the evidence-based practices found within intervention literature that specifically targets impairments provide an overview strategies. Four relevant themes regarding considered discussed: (a) different stages development, (b) both reduce interfering skills, (c) utilize eclectic combination strategies, (d) considerations practice research.
