摘要: Midkine (MDK), a heparin-binding growth factor, modulates the proliferation and migration of various cells, is often highly expressed in many malignant tumors, may act as an oncoprotein. We found that MDK overexpressed clinical human gastric cancer tissues relative to its expression adjacent noncancerous tissues. To further investigate biological activities cancer, we introduced gene into SGC7901 where it contributed cells vitro vivo. Conversely, knockdown by siRNA resulted significantly reduced BGC823 cells. Our study also shows activates both Akt ERK1/2 pathways upregulates several cell-cycle-related proteins, including cyclin A, D1, Cdk2, Cdk4, Cdk6, which part explains contribution cell survival growth. These results demonstrate contributes suggest plays important role development cancer.
