摘要: In recent years, the blueberry cultivation and processing industry developed quickly because blueberries are super-fruit with healthy function. Blueberry leaves byproducts of the blueberry industry, which rich in bioactive phenolics, such as quercetin (Q), hyperin (H), and chlorogenic acid (C). This study investigated protective effects 3 phenolics (Q, H, C) from rabbiteye Vaccinium ashei on human umbilical vein endothelial cells. The results showed that all these could improve function by inhibiting oxidative damage proinflammatory cytokines caused tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α). cell vitalities cells pretreated Q, C were higher than those stimulated TNF-α only. These decrease reactive oxygen species xanthine oxidase-1 levels increase superoxide dismutase heme oxygenase-1 They also protein expressions intercellular adhesion molecule-1, vascular monocyte chemotactic protein-1 induced TNF-α. In addition, exhibited vasodilatory effect reducing angiotensin I–converting enzyme (ACE) Mostly bioactivities a concentration, but not always depended concentration. antioxidant antiinflammatory Q seemed to be more pronounced H; however, H vitalities. indicated potential antioxidants, inflammation ACE inhibitors, provide new resources phytochemicals beneficial for cardiovascular health.
